Liquid Mixed-Metal Stabilizers: overview
Liquid mixed-metal stabilizers are the standard heat-stabilizer route for flexible and plastisol PVC. They are metered easily, disperse quickly in plasticizer and are tuned for the demands of calendered sheet, coated fabrics, film and flooring.
Superior Plasto Chem supplies liquid barium-zinc (Ba/Zn) and calcium-zinc (Ca/Zn) complexes, potassium-zinc foam kickers, odourless stabilizer and foam-kicker grades, and lead- and cadmium-containing complexes where they remain permitted for the end use. Pair them with DOP, DBP, ESBO or chlorinated paraffin from the same supplier to simplify your flexible PVC bill of materials.

Storage and handling
- Store in tightly closed, clean and dry containers, away from direct heat, sunlight and ignition sources.
- Keep away from strong oxidisers, strong acids and bases; keep containers off bare ground and clear of drains.
- Use dedicated, clean transfer equipment to avoid cross-contamination and moisture pick-up.
- Follow the safety data sheet (SDS) for personal protective equipment, spill response and disposal.
