Calcium Carbonate Supplier in India: Coated and Uncoated CaCO₃ for PVC
Calcium carbonate is the most widely used mineral filler in PVC. Used well, it lowers compound cost, supports stiffness and improves surface finish; used badly, it hurts impact strength and processing. The difference is largely in the particle size distribution, the purity and, for coated grades, the quality of the surface treatment.
Superior Plasto Chem supplies seven Super-series grades: four stearic-acid coated (Super-C-Sp, C1, C2, C3) and three uncoated (Super-U2, U3, U4). Every grade is published with its D50 and D97, and the chemistry (CaCO₃ at 98.50 % minimum on a dry basis) and physical properties are listed in full.
Values are as published on the product pages. Confirm lot values on the COA.

What to weigh when you choose.
D50 and D97: the two numbers that matter
D50 is the median particle size. D97 is the size below which 97 % of the particles fall and is the best single indicator of the coarse tail. A coarse tail drives surface defects in thin or finished-surface products and can reduce impact strength, so tighter D97 grades are usually preferred for profiles and thin-wall applications.
Why coat the filler?
Stearic-acid coating makes the particle surface less polar and more compatible with PVC and the lubricant system. It generally improves dispersion, lowers moisture pick-up and can ease processing. Our coated grades list a stearic acid level of 1.20 % and 100 % coated surface.
We are importers and distributors. Our existing company information states that we import products from Vietnam, Malaysia and Egypt. Ask us for the origin of the grade you intend to order.
Do you export calcium carbonate?
Our existing company information states that we export coated and uncoated calcium carbonate to a number of countries. Send your destination with the enquiry so we can confirm feasibility.
