Calcium-zinc (Ca/Zn) stabilizers are the most common lead-free route for PVC heat stabilization. They are formulated as solid one-pack systems and as liquid stabilizers, and are specified when heavy-metal-free formulations are required by regulation, by an export customer or by internal policy.

05Storage and handling
Storage and handling
- Store in a cool, dry, covered area on pallets, away from moisture and direct sunlight.
- Reseal opened bags promptly; fine powders absorb moisture and can cake or lose flow.
- Use first-in, first-out stock rotation and keep lots separate for traceability.
- Limit dust generation when handling; use suitable dust control and respiratory protection per the SDS.
